WHAT IS IT ?
Last Unicorn Airways centres on two baggage handlers who,
through imaginative play, recreate a round-the-world journey
aboard the final flight of the Last Unicorn Airways. The show opens
with the handlers prising open suitcases filled with trinkets, fine
clothes, alluring smells and exciting tales. In one, the story of The
Flying Trunk, an Arabian Nights-inspired tale about a reckless globe
trotting storyteller is revealed. The performance concludes with a
sensory immersive installation offering a unique, interactive
experience for each audience member.
This unique eco theatre experience reflects on climate change and
our potential for systemic cultural rewiring. Aimed at children and
families, the performance encourages viewers to see everyday life
as an adventure and to value the world and each other.

children who would encounter barriers to access in traditional theatre
experiences including children with complex needs and disabilities
